Resonance in Strong WW Rescattering in Massive SU ( 2 ) Gauge Theory

چکیده
We investigate the effects of W W rescattering through strong anomalous four-vector boson couplings. In the I = 1, J = 1 channel, we find a resonance with a mass of approximately 200GeV and a width of less than 12GeV. In an application to pion physics we find a small correction to the KSRF relation.

Dips in partial wave amplitudes from final state interactions.
We consider the dip-peak structures in the J=0 partial wave amplitudes for processes γγ → WW and γγ, gg → tt taking into account the corresponding Born term process and the rescattering process where the intermediate state is rescattered through the exchange of Higgs resonance state in the direct channel. Near a direct channel resonance, final state interactions can be important even for relati...

Non-commutative field theory as a theory including the Lorentz violation can be constructed in two different ways. In the first method, the non-commutative fields are the same as the ordinary ones while the gauge group is restricted to U(n). For example, the symmetry group of standard model in non-commutative space is U(3)×(2)×U(1) which can be reduced to SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) by two appropriate spo...
متن کاملNon-Abel Gauge Field Theory With Massive Gauge Bosons
In 1954, Yang and Mills founded the non-Abel gauge field theory [1 ]. Since then, the gauge field theory has developed greatly, and has been widely applied to elementary particle theory. Now, we believe that, four kinds of fundamental interactions in nature are all gauge interactions and can be described by gauge field theories. It is generally believed that the principle of local gauge invaria...

The implementation of the ’t Hooft α-gauge in the symmetrically subtracted massive gauge theory based on the nonlinearly realized SU(2) gauge group is discussed. The gauge independence of the self-mass of the gauge bosons is proven by cohomological techniques. Preprint number: IFUM-908-FT

We study the strongly coupled 2-flavor lattice Schwinger model and the SU(2)-color QCD2. The strong coupling limit, even with its inherent nonuniversality, makes accurate predictions of the spectrum of the continuum models and provides an intuitive picture of the gauge theory vacuum. The massive excitations of the gauge model are computable in terms of spin-spin correlators of the quantum Heise...
